Rental Terms and Conditions - RN Car and Bike Rent

Welcome to RN Car and Bike Rent. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility and Documents

  • Driving License: The rider/driver must possess a valid Indian or International Driving License.

  • Age Limit: The minimum age for renting a bike is 18 years and for a car is 21 years.

  • ID Proof: Original Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID must be submitted or verified at the time of vehicle pickup.

2. Rental Period and Extension

  • Rental Start/End: The rental period begins at the time of vehicle pickup and ends at the agreed return time.

  • Late Return: A late fee of [Amount, e.g., ₹200/hour] will be charged if the vehicle is not returned on time.

  • Extensions: Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be informed at least [Number, e.g., 6] hours in advance.

3. Security Deposit and Payment

  • Deposit: A refundable security deposit of [Amount, e.g., ₹2,000] is required for each vehicle.

  • Refund: The deposit will be refunded in full if the vehicle is returned in the same condition as provided, with no traffic fines.

  • Fuel: The vehicle will be provided with a certain amount of fuel; it must be returned with the same level, or fuel charges will apply.

4. Usage and Restrictions

  • Geographical Limits: Vehicles are to be driven within Goa state limits only. Taking vehicles outside Goa is strictly prohibited without a special permit.

  • Prohibited Use: Vehicles must not be used for racing, off-roading, commercial transport, or any illegal activities.

  • Alcohol/Drugs: Driving or riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any legal consequences will be the sole responsibility of the hirer.

5. Damage, Theft, and Maintenance

  • Accidents: In case of an accident, the hirer is responsible for the repair costs as per the authorized service center estimate.

  • Flat Tires/Minor Repairs: Punctures and minor maintenance during the trip are the responsibility of the hirer.

  • Theft: In case of vehicle theft, the hirer is liable to pay the full market value of the vehicle if negligence (e.g., leaving keys in the vehicle) is proven.

6. Traffic Violations

  • Any traffic fines (Speeding, No Parking, Helmet, etc.) incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the hirer. If a fine is received later via e-challan, it will be deducted from the security deposit or billed to the hirer.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 5 hours before the pickup time will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 1 hours will incur a cancellation fee of 50 %
